EPA GreenChill Advanced Refrigeration Partnership. Jeremy Williams from Garden City Ammonia Program interviews Keilly Whitman from the US EPA. The interview discusses what is GreenChill and how it will affect the ammonia and natural refrigerant industry. Ammonia has been approved as well as CO2 for supermarket or commercial refrigeration by the SNAP program from the EPA. The future of using ammonia and natural refrigerants in the supermarket industry can be a real avenue of refrigeration starting today. GCAP offers EPA their facility to do testing and statistics on the Newton 3000 that is an ammonia/co2 brine cascade system for refrigeration.
